Modern, spacious and accessible, our headquarters is perfect for hosting parties and group events.

Our building has two main rooms: a larger sports hall ideal for games, parties and group catering, and a smaller hall for meetings, dining and socialising.

Facilities

• Small meeting room with large TV (7m x 8m)
• Large meeting room (17m x 9m) with soft sprung sports floor (not suitable for high heeled shoes)
• Tables and chairs (to seat up to 80)
• Kitchen equipped with two sinks, a six ring hob and double oven, microwave, utensils and serving hatch to the large room.
• Male, female and accessible toilets
• Both halls have bright lighting or low level LED lighting options
• Parking for up to 10 vehicles with additional parking at Ambleside Sports Club (subject to Ambleside Sports Club opening times)
• Climbing wall for Scout and Guide use only with your own permitted instructors

Charges
Hire charges are based upon the hire duration. A hirers bond of £50 will also be requested. This will be returned after the booking is completed as long as there are no damage or cleaning charges required.

The current charges are:

• £20 per hour for short sessions
• £50 half day (4 hour session)
• £100 full day (up to 8 hours), additional hours will be charged at £12.50 per hour
• £250 weekend for Scout and Guide use only (7:00pm Friday to 1:00pm Sunday)

     Note These charges are subject to change and will be confirmed at the time of booking

See the calendar below for availability*, then fill in the request form at the bottom of this page. Please note internal Scout bookings may not be displayed. Weekday evening bookings are not normally available due to Scout meetings.
Please check our terms and conditions before submitting a request - we will refuse bookings that are not suitable for a Scout HQ.
