About our Group
11th Nuneaton (Weddington) Scout Group was formed in 1950 and has introduced 1000's of children and adults into the Scouting ways over the years.
We wear a red and yellow necker.
We are a large group, with an average of around 160 members. We have two Beaver Colonies, two Cub Packs, two Scout Troops and a large Explorer and Network Scout section.
We have sections meeting every night of the week. Beavers run on Mondays and Fridays, Cubs on Mondays and Wednesdays, Scouts on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and the Explorers meet on Wednesdays. Network arrange activities to fit around University and work.
Most meetings are based at our own building, the Scout Hut, off Higham Lane in Nuneaton.
We are part of Nuneaton District
Please contact us for further information or explore the rest of this website. We would be particularly interested in anyone who has any more info as to the history of our group, or if anyone is interested in joining us in a leadership role.
