With the support, direction and guidance of Unit leaders, Explorer Scouts aged 14-18 are encouraged to lead themselves, design their own fun and challenging programme and work towards activity badges and the top awards that Scouting offers.
Many Explorer Scouts also choose to volunteer with a Beavers, Cubs or Scouts as part of The Young Leader's Scheme, allowing them to contribute to their community as well as developing themselves. Our unit meets on Wednesday evenings at 11th Nuneaton (Weddington) HQ, but regularly meet at other venues or on other occasions as we are part of Nuneaton District’s Eliot Explorers. |
