Scouts are a go-getting group of young people aged 10½-14 who meet on Tuesday and Thursdays to master new skills and try new things, have fun and go on adventures, explore the world around them and help others and make a difference.
Scout Troops use the Patrol System (small teams of 6-8 young people) to encourage teamwork and communication during activities.
The programme contains a balance of physical, intellectual, spiritual and social activities which are lively, challenging and interesting. New skills are challenged at our week long summer camp, where Scouts go camping, climbing, kayaking, horse riding, participate in team sports, pioneering and orienteering challenges and more! Most summer camps include time to explore the local surroundings and attractions which often include swimming and visiting a local cinema.
